Platform Terms
The terms of each network and service you use through SemPost, what they require from you, and how SemPost works with them.
Version and validity
- Version and effective date: 30 October 2026
- Last updated: 30 October 2026
- Issued by: CS Digital Wonders LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, with its registered address at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA ("CS Digital Wonders", "we", "us"). SemPost is a product of CS Digital Wonders.
- Contact for this page: [email protected]; questions about your data: [email protected]
- Languages: this page is published in English and Turkish with the same content. The Terms of Service say which version prevails.
- How changes are announced: we update this page when a network's or service's terms change or when we add or remove a connection. Before a material change takes effect, we tell users by email, 30 days in advance, or with shorter notice when a network's rule requires a faster change . Smaller changes (wording, links, corrections) are listed in the "Changes" section at the end.
1. What this page covers
SemPost works with other companies' services: the social networks you publish to, Shopify, the payment service Link (operated by Stripe), and our social gateway Zernio. For each of them, this page lists the terms you agree to, what they require from you, and what SemPost does with them. It is part of the SemPost Terms of Service.
- The links go to each company's own official pages. The companies can change those pages; the version on their website applies.
- How SemPost handles the data it receives from these services is explained in the Privacy Policy.
- SemPost is not affiliated with, endorsed or certified by any of these companies (see the Copyright and Notice-and-Takedown Policy, section 14).
2. How connections to the networks work
- The gateway. SemPost connects to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky through Zernio, our social API gateway (section 12). When you connect an account, you sign in on the network's own page and grant access to the app shown there. Today this is Zernio's app.
- No passwords or tokens at SemPost. SemPost does not store your network passwords or access tokens; Zernio holds the connection. SemPost keeps the account's name, display name, profile picture link, account ID, access expiry, connection health, Pinterest board, time zone, content language and which member connected it.
- Your permission. By connecting an account you confirm that you are allowed to manage it, and you agree to follow the network's terms and policies listed below.
- Analytics. SemPost reads each connected account's statistics every hour, including for posts you made outside SemPost, up to 365 days back, and daily follower counts. It stores no data about individual followers or commenters.
- "Write in the style of my best posts". If you turn on this option in the AI writer, SemPost sends short excerpts of up to 5 of your best-performing posts from the last 12 months, read from your connected accounts (not from LinkedIn or Pinterest), to the AI text model as style examples. They are not used to train models.
- Disconnecting. You can disconnect an account at any time in Settings › Social accounts. The account is then removed at Zernio, together with its comment-to-DM automations. SemPost deletes the data received from LinkedIn at once. For the other networks, SemPost deletes the account's name, picture and analytics within 7 days. Your posts stay in your workspace's history.
- When a trial or a plan ends. If a trial ends without a paid plan, or a plan closes, SemPost disconnects the workspace's social accounts 48 hours later. Their name, picture and analytics history stay as long as the workspace exists, so they are there again when you reconnect; analytics from YouTube and Google Business Profile are still never older than 30 days, and data from LinkedIn is deleted at once. While a workspace waits to be deleted, its accounts stay connected until it is deleted permanently.
- Revoking access at the network. You can also withdraw access in each network's own settings, where the app appears under Zernio's name.
- The networks decide. Networks can limit, hide, remove or reject posts, suspend accounts, or change or close their APIs. SemPost has no control over this (see the Terms of Service).
3. YouTube
- YouTube API Services. SemPost uses YouTube API Services, through Zernio.
- YouTube Terms of Service. By using SemPost's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- Google Privacy Policy. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- What SemPost publishes. Videos shorter than three minutes, which YouTube treats as Shorts, with a title of up to 100 characters, your text and link as the description and, if you add one, a first comment.
- Made for kids. When you connect a YouTube channel, you confirm once that the channel does not publish content made for kids. SemPost records who confirmed it and when, and on that basis tells YouTube for every upload that the video is not made for kids. Do not use SemPost to upload videos made for children.
- AI disclosure. When a video carries AI content, SemPost sets YouTube's "altered or synthetic content" disclosure (see the AI Content Policy).
- Automatic uploads. An automation rule uploads to YouTube only after you have ticked the consent box described in the Acceptable Use Policy; SemPost stores who gave the consent, when, and the rule's version.
- What SemPost accesses and stores. Your channel's name, picture and ID; the videos it publishes for you; and your videos' analytics (a short excerpt of the title or description, a thumbnail link, the link and the metrics), including videos you published outside SemPost.
- Refreshing. Stored YouTube analytics are refreshed while access works and are never older than 30 days.
- Revoking access. Besides disconnecting the account in SemPost, you can revoke access at any time on Google's security settings page: security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
- Deletion. If you disconnect your channel in SemPost or ask us to delete its data, we delete the YouTube data we store within 7 days. If you revoke access on Google's page, its analytics can no longer be refreshed and are deleted within 30 days ; its name and picture stay until you disconnect the channel in SemPost or ask us to delete them. Deleting data in SemPost does not delete your videos on YouTube.
- Questions and complaints: [email protected].
4. Google Business Profile
Terms you agree to. To use Business Profile, a business accepts the Google Terms of Service and the Google Business Profile Additional Terms of Service for Business Entities. Google's rules for profiles are collected in All Business Profile policies and guidelines; posts must also follow the photos, videos and posts content policy and the prohibited and restricted content policy. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What SemPost does.
- SemPost publishes posts on your Business Profile location and reads its statistics. It does not reply to reviews or questions, does not edit your business information, and does not add managers itself. The connection is made through our gateway Zernio; your Business Profile settings show who has access to your profile, and Zernio's privacy policy explains how Zernio handles the connection.
- A post carries one picture and, if you add a link, a "Shop" button. Business Profile posts take no video. SemPost draws no text or labels on these pictures, and in posts made with Generate from products the picture is your product's own photo.
- SemPost places at most one post per location per day automatically.
- When SemPost writes a Business Profile post with AI, the model is told not to include phone numbers, email addresses or links; in automation posts SemPost also removes phone numbers. Google may remove posts that contain unverified contact details.
What Google's API policies require.
- Consent for automated actions. Google requires the business's prior, specific and express consent before automated actions. When you add a Business Profile to an automation rule, you must tick a consent box like the one for YouTube; SemPost stores who gave the consent, when, and the version of the text. Automation posts to Business Profile also follow your workspace's approval setting.
- Storage. Data from the Business Profile APIs may be stored for at most 30 days. Stored Business Profile analytics are therefore refreshed while access works and are never older than 30 days.
- Leaving. Google requires that a business that stops using a tool can disconnect it within seven business days. You can disconnect your Business Profile in SemPost at any time; the connection is then removed at Zernio, and we delete its data within 7 days. You can also remove access on Google's security settings page.
5. Meta: Facebook, Instagram and Threads
Terms you agree to.
- Meta Terms of Service (Facebook)
- Instagram Terms of Use
- Threads Supplemental Terms
- Meta Privacy Policy
- Meta Community Standards, which apply to Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads
- Meta Commerce Policies, for products you promote, and the Advertising Standards if you turn a post into an ad
What SemPost does.
- Instagram: feed posts, carousels (2 to 10 pictures), stories and Reels; a first comment (not on stories); and on Reels, if the account is connected through Facebook, a track from Instagram's music library. Links are not added, because Instagram captions do not make them clickable.
- Facebook: posts with 1 to 10 pictures and Reels; your link goes in the first comment. Music cannot be added to Facebook Reels through the API.
- Threads: text with a picture or a video, your link at the end of the text, and a first comment.
- Connecting Instagram: you can connect with Facebook (recommended; you choose which pages to connect, and Instagram music needs this method) or with Instagram.
- Comment-to-DM on Instagram and Facebook is off by default and offered only in some regions; Meta allows one message within 7 days after a comment. The rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
What Meta requires from you.
- AI content: Meta requires you to disclose organic posts with photorealistic video or realistic-sounding audio that was digitally created or altered. SemPost sets Instagram's AI label for posts with AI files. For Facebook and Threads our gateway offers no AI label field, so add a disclosure yourself where needed (see the AI Content Policy).
- Paid partnerships: SemPost cannot set Meta's branded content (paid partnership) label; add it with Meta's own tools where needed.
- Deleting your data: see our data deletion instructions.
- Security problems: write to [email protected] (see the Security page).
6. TikTok
Terms you agree to.
- TikTok Terms of Service. TikTok publishes separate terms for users in the United States, the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and India; the version for your region applies.
- TikTok Community Guidelines, including the rules on regulated goods and commercial activities
- Music Usage Confirmation: by posting, you confirm that you have the rights to the music in your video
- Branded Content Policy, for branded content
- TikTok's Content Sharing Guidelines for apps, which set the rules SemPost's posting window follows
How SemPost posts to TikTok.
- Drafts by default. TikTok posts (videos and photo posts of 1 to 35 pictures) go as drafts to your TikTok app, where you add music and labels and publish. Posts made by automation rules always go as drafts.
- Direct publishing (Studio only). For each TikTok account you can choose "Publish directly" in the Studio. The window shows the account's nickname and reads its daily posting limit each time it opens. You choose the privacy setting yourself (nothing is preselected); comments, duets and stitches start unticked and are greyed out if the account has turned them off; the commercial content disclosure starts off. If you turn it on, you must tick "Your brand" (the post is labelled as promotional content), "Branded content" (labelled as a paid partnership) or both, and branded content cannot be set to "Only me". With a TikTok for Business connection, videos can only be public.
- The declaration. Before you save, the window shows TikTok's declaration: "By posting, you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation." For branded content: "By posting, you agree to TikTok's Branded Content Policy and Music Usage Confirmation." Saving the window is your consent to publish. The post goes out when it is approved, under your workspace's approval setting.
- Music. In direct publishing you can choose a track from TikTok's Commercial Music Library; your video's own sound is kept.
- AI content. Directly published videos with AI content carry TikTok's AI-generated content setting. Photo posts with AI content always go as drafts, because TikTok's photo publishing takes no AI disclosure.
- No branding. TikTok does not allow apps to add brand names, logos, watermarks, links or promotional text, so SemPost sends a clean version without its logo, end card, labels or text.
- Limits. Our gateway allows at most 15 TikTok videos per account per day.
7. LinkedIn
Terms you agree to. LinkedIn User Agreement, LinkedIn Privacy Policy and LinkedIn Professional Community Policies. LinkedIn requires apps to have their own user agreement and privacy policy: ours are the SemPost Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What SemPost does. It publishes posts with text and pictures or a video, puts your link at the end of the text, adds a first comment if you write one, and reads the posts' statistics.
What LinkedIn requires from you.
- No automated posting. LinkedIn's API terms forbid using its APIs to automate posting, and its User Agreement forbids bots. Every LinkedIn post prepared by an automation rule therefore waits for a person's approval (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
- AI content. LinkedIn requires clear disclosure of synthetic or manipulated media that shows people saying or doing things they did not do. Our gateway offers no AI label field for LinkedIn, so add the disclosure yourself.
- Deletion. When you disconnect the account, it is removed at Zernio; if you ask us to delete data collected from LinkedIn, or the account is disconnected, we delete it at once.
8. Pinterest
Terms you agree to. Pinterest Terms of Service, Pinterest Privacy Policy, Pinterest Community Guidelines and, for ads, the Advertising guidelines.
What SemPost does. It publishes Pins (a 2:3 picture or a video, a title of up to 100 characters, a description of up to 500 characters, your link as the Pin's destination) to the board you choose in SemPost when you connect the account, sets Pinterest's AI label on Pins with AI pictures, and reads your Pins' statistics.
What Pinterest requires from you.
- You choose each Pin. Every Pin prepared by an automation rule waits for your approval (see the Acceptable Use Policy).
- Storage and AI training. Pinterest limits the storage of data from its API and forbids using it to train AI models. SemPost does not train AI models on Pinterest data. When you disconnect a Pinterest account, SemPost deletes its name, picture and analytics within 7 days.
9. Bluesky
Terms you agree to. Bluesky Terms of Service, Bluesky Privacy Policy and Bluesky Community Guidelines, which forbid spam and misleading impersonation.
What SemPost does. It publishes posts with text and pictures or a video, tags them with the post's language, puts your link at the end of the text, and reads the posts' statistics. Our gateway offers no AI label field for Bluesky, so add a disclosure yourself where needed.
10. Shopify (for installs from the Shopify App Store)
Terms you agree to. The Shopify Terms of Service and the Shopify Privacy Policy. Under Shopify's terms, your use of an app is between you and the app's provider, and the provider's terms also apply: for SemPost, the Terms of Service and these policies.
Installing. The app "SemPost: AI Social Media Posts" opens inside your Shopify admin (embed.sempost.ai). When it is opened for the first time, SemPost creates a workspace named after your store, with the store's language and time zone, and a SemPost user from the email address and name that Shopify confirms, without a password. The store owner becomes the workspace owner; other staff become editors when they first open the app. Every page of the app shows links to the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the KVKK Information Notice; when you first open the app, SemPost records your acceptance of the Terms, with their version and the time. After a material change to the Terms, a notice at the top of every page of the app links to the new version; you accept it there, without an extra sign-in step, and SemPost records that acceptance in the same way (Terms of Service, Section 38).
What SemPost reads. Products, inventory, discounts, markets, publications, languages and translations, with read-only access. SemPost asks for no access to your customers or orders.
Billing. Shopify bills you for SemPost (Shopify App Pricing): your plan, credit packs and extra social accounts appear on your Shopify invoice, and you change your plan on Shopify's plan page. Refunds for charges billed by Shopify can only be made through Shopify's billing (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy). If you already pay for SemPost on the web through Link and then install the app, your store joins your existing workspace and your payment stays with Link.
Uninstalling.
- When you uninstall the app, SemPost deletes the store's access tokens and removes the store connection. The workspace's plan closes: generation, automation and publishing stop, and the data stays. Social accounts are disconnected 48 hours later.
- 48 hours after you uninstall, Shopify asks SemPost to delete the store's data. SemPost then permanently deletes a workspace that the installation created and that has no other payment channel, including its posts, media, store data and the users who belong to no other workspace. Otherwise only the store's data is deleted. Records the law requires us to keep stay, as the Privacy Policy explains. This deletion cannot be undone.
- If you reinstall before the deletion, the store reconnects to the same workspace.
- SemPost keeps no data about your store's customers. When Shopify sends a request about a customer's data, SemPost records the request (the store, the kind of request and the number of orders, never the customer) and closes it, because it holds no such data.
11. Stripe and Link (payments on the web)
- Who sells. On the web, SemPost subscriptions and credit packs are sold through Link, which is operated by Stripe ("Sold through Link"). Link is the seller (merchant of record): it takes the payment, handles tax in the countries Stripe covers, sends receipts, invoices and refund emails, and answers payment and subscription questions. Your card statement shows
LINK.COM*followed by our statement name. - Terms you agree to. When you buy, you accept Link's terms, including its Sold Through Link Terms and Purchase Terms: link.com/terms. Stripe's privacy policy for Link explains how Link handles your payment data.
- Managing your order. You can see your orders, cancel or change subscriptions, and update your payment method and billing address at link.com; help is at Link's "Sold through Link" support pages. In SemPost, the workspace owner can also manage and cancel the subscription from the Billing page.
- Refunds and withdrawal. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Deleting payment data. If you ask Link to delete your data, Stripe cancels the subscriptions sold through Link, deletes your data from its records and tells us by email.
- What SemPost stores. No card details, billing address or tax ID; only the Stripe customer and subscription IDs and the subscription's status and dates.
- Where Link does not sell. Stripe does not sell to customers in China, Cuba, Iran, Kosovo, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.
- Workspaces installed from the Shopify App Store are billed by Shopify, not by Link (section 10).
12. Zernio (our social gateway)
- Who. Zernio is a social media API service run by ZERNIO SOFTWARE SL in Spain.
- What it does for SemPost. It connects your accounts, holds the access tokens, publishes posts on our instructions, reads analytics and runs comment-to-DM. The networks' permission screens show Zernio's app. Zernio's link tracking is switched off.
- Your relationship. You do not need an account with Zernio; SemPost has the contract with it. Zernio's own documents: Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement. Zernio is listed on our Sub-processors page.
13. Not available
- X (Twitter): SemPost does not publish to X.
- Etsy: there is no Etsy connection. SemPost does not read Etsy pages, because Etsy's rules forbid it. If we add an Etsy connection, we will update this page before it goes live.
