What one action costs

Credits are spent only when AI makes something. Each kind of work has a default model; in Settings you can pick a cheaper or a stronger one.

When credits run out

  • Plan credits load every month and end with it. Credit packs last 12 months, and their time stops while your plan is closed.
  • The credits that expire first are spent first: usually the plan's, then packs.
  • Work that needs credits checks first, so nothing is left half made: you add credits or wait for the next month.
  • Scheduled posts still go out and analytics keep updating. They never use credits.
  • An automation rule that cannot pay for its day skips it, stops and emails you.

How you pay

On the web

  • Link, by Stripe, takes the payment and sends the receipt. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* SEMPOST.
  • Prices are in US dollars, before tax; tax for your country is added at checkout.
  • A bigger plan starts at once and charges the rest of the period. A smaller one waits for the end of the period you paid for. A cancelled plan stays open until then.

From the Shopify App Store

  • You choose the plan on Shopify, and it appears on your Shopify bill.
  • Credit packs and extra accounts are added to the same bill as usage charges.
  • Removing the app ends the plan.

Questions about pricing

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. The trial runs for 7 days with 150 credits. Nothing is charged until you choose a plan.

Do unused credits carry over?

Plan credits do not: each month loads a fresh amount. Credit packs last 12 months from the day you buy them.

Does a yearly plan load its credits once a year?

No. Yearly plans load their credits every month, like monthly plans. You pay less for the same months.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, in Settings › Billing. The window shows what you pay today and when the change applies before you confirm.

What happens if a payment fails?

Scheduled posts keep going out for 3 days (once in 90 days) while the card is tried again. If it still fails, the plan closes: publishing and automation stop, your data stays, and social accounts are disconnected 48 hours later.
