Refund and Cancellation Policy

How to cancel SemPost, when you get money back and what happens to your credits, for purchases on the web and through Shopify.

Version and validity

  • Version: 30 October 2026
  • Last updated: 30 October 2026
  • From: CS Digital Wonders LLC ("CS Digital Wonders", "we"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. SemPost is a product of CS Digital Wonders. Section 13 explains how to reach us.
  • How we announce changes: we email material changes to account holders before they take effect. Other changes are listed in the "Changes" table at the end of this page.
  • This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It is also available in Turkish.

1. Summary

  • One policy covers both ways of paying: on the web, where Link (Stripe) sells SemPost, and in the Shopify app, where Shopify bills you.
  • You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays open until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund the rest of a period, unless the law or this policy gives you a right to it.
  • On the web, Link or we can refund a payment. Link may refund some purchases within 60 days.
  • When a payment is refunded, we take back the unused credits that payment loaded. Credits you have already spent stay spent.
  • Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, and so can consumers in Turkey under their own rules (Section 9). The Billing page has a "Withdraw from contract here" function for this (Section 8.4).
  • When a subscription is cancelled, we confirm it by email; 30 days before a yearly plan renews, we remind you by email.
  • Charges made through Shopify can only be refunded through Shopify.

2. Which rules apply to you

You boughtWhereWho sells and chargesRefunds
A plan, extra social accounts or credit packsOn the web (app.sempost.ai)Link (Stripe), as merchant of recordThrough Link, by Link or by us (Sections 3 to 6)
A plan, extra social accounts or credit packsIn the Shopify appShopify, on your Shopify billOnly through Shopify (Section 11)

On top of this:

  • if you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, Section 8 applies;
  • if you are a consumer in Turkey, Section 9 applies;
  • everyone keeps the rights the law gives when a service is faulty (Section 10).

3. Cancelling a web subscription

Who: the owner of the workspace.

Where:

  • on the Billing page, with "Cancel subscription". Stripe's secure page opens, where you confirm; you may give a reason, which Stripe keeps;
  • on the Billing page, under "Manage subscription", where you can also change your payment method and download invoices; or
  • in your Link account at link.com, where you can see your orders, cancel or change subscriptions, and update your payment method and billing address. If you paid as a guest, Link invites you to create an account.

When it takes effect: at the end of the period you have paid for. Until then, the plan stays open, its credits can be used and scheduled posts go out. You can take back the cancellation under "Manage subscription" before that date.

Confirmation: whichever way the subscription is cancelled (on the Billing page, at link.com, or by Link), we email the workspace's owners a confirmation with the day the plan ends. If it ends at once, the email says so.

Before a yearly renewal: 30 days before a yearly plan renews, we email the workspace's owners what renews, on which day, the amount before tax and how to cancel before then.

After the end of the period: the plan closes. No new credits are loaded; generation, automation and publishing stop; your social accounts are disconnected 48 hours later. Your data stays (Section 12). Pack credits cannot be used while the plan is closed; their expiry is paused for that time, and they can be used again if you buy a plan again.

No refund for the rest of the period, unless you have a right to one under Section 8 or 9 or under the law.

Deleting your workspace (Settings › Workspace, owners only) ends a running web subscription at once, without waiting for the end of the period, and the unused part of the period is not refunded. Before you confirm, the deletion screen tells you this and how many days of the period are left. Unused credits are lost. You can take the deletion back within 7 days, but the cancelled subscription does not come back: to continue, you subscribe again. Your rights under Sections 8 and 9 are not affected: if you are within the 14-day withdrawal period, or you are a consumer in Turkey, write to [email protected] and you get the refund described there.

A workspace that pays through Shopify is deleted by uninstalling the app in the Shopify admin (Section 11). If your workspace pays on the web but SemPost's Shopify app is installed in it, uninstall the app first; you can then delete the workspace in Settings.

If you ask Link to delete your payment data, Stripe cancels your subscription and tells us, and your workspace's plan closes.

4. Plan changes and extra social accounts

  • Upgrade: you pay the price difference for the rest of the current period, and you get the credit difference for that time. Nothing from the old plan is refunded, because you pay only the difference.
  • Monthly to yearly: the unused part of the current month is deducted from the yearly price.
  • Downgrade and yearly to monthly: take effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Nothing is refunded for the current period.
  • A payment we could not apply: if you pay a price difference and the change can no longer be made, for example because your plan changed in the meantime, we refund that payment. The app tells you when this happens.
  • Extra social accounts: before you buy one, a window shows what you buy, its price and how it is charged, and asks you to confirm that it starts at once. You can give back an extra account you no longer use at any time with "Give one back". It is not billed from the next renewal; the rest of the current period is not refunded. An extra account that a connected account uses cannot be given back. Consumers can also withdraw from the purchase of an extra account within 14 days (Section 8).

5. Refunds for web purchases

5.1 Who can refund. Link sells SemPost on the web, so you can ask Link's support for a refund. We can also refund you through Stripe. The quickest way is to write to us first at [email protected].

5.2 Refunds Link may make. Link may refund a purchase in some cases within 60 days of the payment, for example to prevent a card dispute. Link decides under its own refund rules. According to those rules, Link reviews requests made within 60 days where a digital product was not received, was significantly not as described or not fit for purpose, was damaged, or where the payment was not authorised or was taken twice. Link does not review requests made only because you changed your mind or did not use a subscription you had not cancelled before the billing date. Link also applies the withdrawal periods that consumer law requires in your country.

5.3 If we do not answer Link within 48 hours. When Link needs information about SemPost to decide on your request, it asks us. If we do not answer within 48 hours, Stripe may refund you without our approval. To help Link decide, we may share a summary of your workspace's credit use, that is, what was produced on which day.

5.4 Refunds we make ourselves. We refund:

  • a payment we could not apply (Section 4);
  • a payment taken twice by mistake;
  • the unused part of your payment if we end the contract for a reason that is not your breach, or if you are a consumer and end it because of a change to SemPost that affects you more than in a minor way (Terms, Sections 10 and 27);
  • whatever the law requires us to refund, including under Sections 8 and 9.

In other cases, a refund is our decision.

5.5 How refunds are paid. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, through Link, and include the tax you paid. How long they take to appear depends on your bank.

5.6 Your credits after a refund. When a payment is refunded in full or in part, we take back the same share of the credits that payment loaded, up to the credits of that batch you have not used yet. Credits you have already spent are not taken back. For a credit pack, this concerns the pack's credits; for a subscription payment, the plan credits of that period and the extra credits from an upgrade in that period. Your credit activity shows this as "Refund".

Examples with a 3,000-credit pack bought for US$33, of which you used 500:

  • full refund: we take back the 2,500 unused credits;
  • refund of half the price: we take back 1,500 credits (half of 3,000), because at least that many are still unused.

5.7 If a renewal payment fails. We do not refund anything in this case; the rules on the 3-day grace period are in Section 16 of the Terms.

5.8 Card disputes. If you dispute a charge with your bank, Stripe handles the dispute. Please contact us or Link first: a refund is usually faster.

6. Credit packs

  • A credit pack is paid once and its credits are valid for 12 months from the purchase.
  • You need a paid plan to buy a pack and to use its credits. While your plan is closed, pack credits cannot be used, and their 12-month period is paused for that time .
  • Credits that expire are not refunded. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Apart from that, a pack is refunded only as Sections 5, 8 and 9 describe.

7. The free trial

  • The trial is free. On the web you do not give a card, and the trial never turns into a paid plan by itself, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
  • In the Shopify app, each plan starts with Shopify's 7-day free trial. When the trial ends, Shopify adds the plan's price to your Shopify bill unless you have cancelled the plan or uninstalled the app before.

8. Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK: right of withdrawal

8.1 Your right. If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the purchase of a plan, an extra social account or a credit pack within 14 days of the day you made it, without giving a reason.

8.2 Plans: if SemPost starts at your request. A paid plan starts as soon as you pay. Before the payment page opens, you tick a box saying that you want SemPost to start at once and that, if you withdraw within the 14 days, you pay for what you used until then . We record this, and the email confirming your purchase repeats it. If you then withdraw, we refund what you paid minus an amount in proportion to what we provided until you told us. The proportion is the larger of the share of the billing period that has passed and the share of that period's plan credits you have used. Example: you pay US$29 for Starter and withdraw after 6 days, having used 400 of the month's 800 credits. The share of time is 6 of 30 days (20%) and the share of credits is 50%, so you pay 50%, that is US$14.50, and we refund US$14.50.

An extra social account works the same way: before you buy it, you tick a box saying that you want it to start at once and that, if you withdraw within the 14 days, you pay for what you used until then. If you withdraw, we refund what you paid for it minus the share of the time it was paid for that has passed until you told us, and remove it from your subscription.

8.3 Credit packs. You can withdraw from the purchase of a credit pack within 14 days. Before the payment page opens, you tick a box saying that you want the credits added at once and that your right of withdrawal ends for the credits you use . If you withdraw, we refund the price of the pack's credits you have not used and take those credits back; for the credits you have used, the right of withdrawal has ended. Example: for a 3,000-credit pack bought for US$33, of which you used 500, we refund US$27.50 and take back the 2,500 unused credits. If you have used none of its credits, you get the full price back. Because the credits that expire first are spent first, plan credits are usually used before pack credits; your credit activity shows whether a pack's credits have been used.

8.4 How to withdraw. The quickest way is in SemPost: on the Billing page (Settings › Billing), every purchase made on the web shows "Withdraw from contract here" until its withdrawal period ends, that is until the end of the 14th day after the day of the purchase. You give or confirm your name, check which contract it is and the email address we write to, and select "Confirm withdrawal". We email you an acknowledgement of receipt at once, with what you sent us and the date and time we received it. The function is there for the owner of the workspace, who made the purchase, also while the workspace waits for its deletion. You can also send us a clear statement, for example by email to [email protected] or by post to the address below. You may use the model form in Section 8.7, but you do not have to. You can also ask Link's support. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your statement before the 14 days end.

8.5 Refund. We refund within 14 days of the day we receive your statement, to the payment method you used, at no cost to you. We make the refund through Link, which sends you its receipt. When you withdraw in the app, a plan's subscription ends at once and the plan closes, and a credit pack's unused credits are taken back at once; an extra social account is removed from your subscription. The credits that payment loaded are taken back as Section 5.6 describes.

8.6 Model withdrawal information.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (CS Digital Wonders LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, telephone +1 408 256 2901, email [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

You can also use the "Withdraw from contract here" function on the Billing page of SemPost (app.sempost.ai/settings/billing). If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (by email) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

For a credit pack: if before the purchase you expressly agreed that the credits are supplied at once and acknowledged that your right of withdrawal ends for the credits you use, you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits you have used, and we reimburse the price of the credits you have not used.

8.7 Model withdrawal form

(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

  • To: CS Digital Wonders LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, email [email protected]
  • I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service (*) / for the supply of the following digital content (*): ……
  • Ordered on (*): ……
  • Name of consumer(s): ……
  • Address of consumer(s): ……
  • Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): ……
  • Date: ……

To help us find your purchase quickly, you may add the email address of your SemPost account and the number of Link's receipt. This is optional.

9. Consumers in Turkey

If you are a consumer in Turkey, the Turkish Ön Bilgilendirme Formu and Mesafeli Hizmet Sözleşmesi apply to you; the window before you pay links to them and asks you, with a separate box, to confirm that you have read them . In short:

  • Withdrawal: for a service, you can withdraw within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded.
  • Starting at once does not take the right away: Turkish law excludes services whose performance starts with your approval before the withdrawal period ends, and services performed instantly in electronic form or intangible goods delivered instantly, unless the parties agree otherwise. A plan starts as soon as you pay, and pack credits are loaded at once, but we agree otherwise: you keep the right of withdrawal on the terms of Section 8. From a plan, you get back what you paid minus what you used until then; from a credit pack, you get back the price of the credits you have not used.
  • How to withdraw: use "Withdraw from contract here" on the Billing page, which confirms receipt to you by email at once, or notify us in writing or on a durable medium (for example by email to [email protected]) before the 14 days end. We refund within 14 days, in one payment, to the payment method you used, at no cost to you.
  • Ending the subscription: you can end your subscription at any time without giving a reason and without a penalty. "Cancel subscription" ends it at the end of the paid period. If you want it to end earlier, write to [email protected]: we carry out the termination within 7 days at the latest and refund the part of your payment for the time not used within 15 days after the termination takes effect, taking back the corresponding credits (Section 5.6). We confirm the termination to you by email.
  • Yearly plans: a yearly plan is a subscription of indefinite term that you pay for one year at a time. The Billing page shows the date of your next renewal, your invoices show the period each payment covers, and we email you 30 days before each yearly renewal.
  • Who sells: on the web, Link (Stripe) sells SemPost as merchant of record.
  • Complaints: you can apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi) where you live, within the monetary limits set each year.

10. Your rights if the service is faulty

This policy does not limit the rights the law gives you when SemPost does not work as agreed. Depending on where you live, you can, for example, ask us to fix the problem, get a price reduction or end the contract and get money back for the time not used. Section 19.3 of the Terms explains these rights.

11. Shopify app

  • Shopify charges your plan, credit packs and extra social accounts on your Shopify bill. Only Shopify can refund these charges; we never refund them by any other payment method.
  • You change or cancel your plan on Shopify's plan page. When you uninstall SemPost, the plan closes and Shopify ends the subscription.
  • An extra social account you give back is not refunded for the billing cycle in which you give it back; from the next cycle it is no longer billed.
  • If you think a Shopify charge is wrong, write to [email protected]. We look into it and settle it through Shopify's billing.
  • SemPost is offered in the Shopify App Store to merchants for their business, so the consumer rights in Sections 8 and 9 do not apply to purchases made there.

12. Your data after you cancel

  • Web: after your plan closes, your data stays. You can download it or delete your workspace at any time; a deleted workspace can be restored within 7 days, without its subscription, and is then deleted permanently . Deleting your own account takes effect at once and cannot be undone . If a workspace has no open plan, for whatever reason (for example, the trial ended, the subscription was cancelled or a payment failed), and no member signs in or does anything in it for 150 days, we email its owners; if that is still the case on day 180, we delete the workspace .
  • Shopify: about 48 hours after you uninstall SemPost, Shopify asks us to delete your store's data. We then permanently delete the workspace if the installation created it and it has no web billing; otherwise only that store's connection goes. This cannot be undone, so download your data before you uninstall .
  • Link and Shopify keep their own payment records under their own terms.
  • All deletion rules and retention periods: Privacy Policy and Section 28 of the Terms.
