Why Etsy listings can't be read
Etsy doesn't allow apps to read its pages, so SemPost doesn't read Etsy addresses; here's how to post your Etsy products another way.
SemPost can read a product from its page address on many shops, but not on Etsy. Etsy's terms don't allow apps to read its pages, and SemPost keeps to them.
What you see
When you enter an address on etsy.com, or a short etsy.me link, SemPost doesn't open it and says This address leads to Etsy, and Etsy does not allow apps to read its pages. This happens wherever you can enter a product page's address: Read a product from its address, Generate from products, the Studio, the Video Studio and automation rules. An address that leads on to Etsy is stopped the same way when SemPost reads it.
Post your Etsy products another way
- Do you also sell them on your own site? Connect that store, Shopify or WooCommerce, or use the product's page on your site: see Use a product page's address.
- Do you sell them only on Etsy? Post them with your own photos. Upload the photos on the Media page, then write the post on the Posts page. AI writes it can write the text from the photos and your notes.
