Buy a plan or credits
Buy a plan by the month or the year, add credit packs, and see what the payment page, the receipt and your card statement show.
The workspace's owner buys plans and credit packs in Settings › Billing. Other members see the plans and the subscription there, with the line The workspace owner makes purchases. You pay on Stripe's secure page, and Link, Stripe's payment service, takes the payment.
Buy a plan
Choose monthly or yearly
Go to Settings › Billing and, above Plans, choose Monthly or Yearly. A yearly plan shows its price a month and the amount paid once a year, and it still loads its credits every month. Each card lists the plan's credits a month, social accounts, stores, seats and active automation rules.
Press Buy
Press Buy on the plan you want. If the workspace uses more than that plan allows, the card says what to remove first, such as Remove the extras before buying this plan: Stores 2/1., and Buy stays off until it fits. Connected social accounts beyond the plan's don't stop you: they come with the plan as extra social accounts, and the card shows their price.
Ask for an immediate start
The Before the payment page window names the plan and its price. Tick the box: you ask for the service to start at once, and if you withdraw within the 14-day withdrawal period, you pay for what you used until then: the larger of the share of the period that has passed and the share of its credits you used. The window links the Terms of Service and the refund and cancellation rules, and for consumers in Turkey the pre-contract information and the distance service contract. Press Go to the payment page.
Pay on Stripe's page
Stripe's secure page opens. Tax for your country is added there, and the price may show in your currency. Enter your payment details and pay.
Back in SemPost
You come back to Settings › Billing, which says Payment received: your plan is on. The plan starts at once, with its limits and its credits. If the payment is still being processed, the page says so and shows it within a few minutes. If you leave Stripe's page without paying, nothing changes.
Buying a plan during the trial ends the trial at once. Trial credits you have left stay until the trial's last day.
Buy a credit pack
Credit packs are for workspaces on a plan: until there is one, the page says Buy a plan before a credit pack. Under Credit packs, press Buy on a pack. In the window, tick the box: you ask for the credits to be added at once, and your right of withdrawal ends for the credits you use. Press Go to the payment page and pay. Back in SemPost, the page says Payment received: your credits are loaded. Pack credits last 12 months: see How credits work.
Receipt, invoice and card statement
- Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Tax for your country is added on top on Stripe's page.
- Link emails the receipt and the invoice. The receipt says Sold through Link, and its line names what you bought, such as SemPost Growth plan. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* SEMPOST.
- SemPost emails the person who bought a confirmation too, Your SemPost purchase: …, with what was bought, the amount, the date and the terms that apply. Keep it: it confirms your contract.
- Your invoices are also under Manage subscription in Settings › Billing.
A workspace that came from the Shopify App Store has no Buy buttons: its plan, credit packs and extra accounts go on the Shopify bill. See Paying through Shopify.
If something goes wrong
- The workspace owner makes purchases. Ask an owner. An owner can also make you an owner in Settings › Team.
- Payments open soon. Buying isn't open yet; until then the workspace uses its trial credits and the credits SemPost grants.
- Credit packs are for workspaces on a plan. Buy a plan first.
- The workspace uses more than this plan allows. Remove the extras or choose a bigger plan. Remove what the plan's card lists, or pick a bigger plan.
- Stripe could not be reached. Try again in a moment.
